North Spring Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. is a multifaceted behavioral healthcare system comprised of three programs to serve children and adolescents with a broad spectrum of psychiatric service needs. Programs of service include an 87-bed, Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services licensed, Joint Commission accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility, a Partial Hospitalization Program, and a 40-bed acute psychiatric hospital. Our clinical department is currently welcoming a full-time Therapist to assist both our residential and acute teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides psychotherapy services for patients to include individual, family and group therapy scheduling and facilitation of treatment team reviews and documentation.
  • Attends all treatment teams for assigned patients.
  • Provides direction and guidance to Therapist assigned to Acute.
  • Coordinates multifamily/group/family education group.
  • Staff training
  • On call/weekend coverage for clinical services.
  • Completes all program notes before the end of the business day.
  • Completes psychosocial assessment within prescribed limits.
  • Monthly treatment team reports are prepared per policy. (RTC)
  • Responds to crisis situations and manages patient behaviors in accordance with the Behavioral Management Program.
  • Assists with the milieu to guide the development of acceptable habits and attitudes by consistently and fairly implementing the behavioral program, emphasizing good choices, and positive interactions.

Location: Beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, 40 miles Northwest of Washington DC. Named one of the best places to live by Money magazine. 45-acre campus in a rural area on the northern edge of Leesburg with a gymnasium, beautiful outdoor campus and high ropes course. Excellent public school system.

Compensation package:Competitive salary. Employee benefits available including exemplary health and related insurance after 30 days, 21 days per year Paid Time Off available after 90 days in addition to an Extended Leave Bank for use when sick, opportunity to purchase stock at discounted prices , and a 401(k) Plan with a generous company match. Three meals a day provided at no cost to employees. Supervision hours offered as well as DBT Certification.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Master's Degree in human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling, education). Prefered: Licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a Licensed Psychologist). Preference given to candidates with CSOTP and/or CSAC. Some experience with children/adolescents. Must be at least 21 years of age. Subject to pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
